About Marie

I’ve been studying Google’s search algorithms since 2008. I’ve worked with hundreds of websites, from small businesses to some of the most recognized brands on the web. My site reviews were in such demand that I built a team of 12 people doing them full-time, often with a months-long waiting list.

In 2022, Google’s Danny Sullivan reached out to discuss a change that would reshape how rankings work – what became the Helpful Content System and eventually became a part of Google’s core ranking systems. That conversation convinced me that the era of traditional SEO was ending. I retired my agency and spent two years studying machine learning and AI full-time. That research became my book, SEO in the Gemini Era.

Today I work with a small number of clients on the strategic question that matters most: how do you build a business that thrives as AI changes how the world uses the web?

The AI & Search Strategy Review is $5,000 USD.

This includes the full strategic assessment document, the companion guide on new developments in Search, and a personalized Gemini Gem trained on my analysis and recommendations that you can use for ongoing brainstorming.

Payment is via credit card, Paypal or ACH transfer. Turnaround depends on demand, typically 2–4 weeks. I’ll share my current timeline when you apply.


Questions

What kind of recommendations will you make?
Every recommendation is specific to your business and tied to evidence from the review. You’ll get strategic priorities along with resources for your team, not a generic checklist. These might include content strategy shifts, AIO and AI Mode strategies, competitive positioning moves, opportunities nobody in your space is capturing, or preparation for emerging technologies that will affect your industry.
Is this a traditional SEO audit?
No. I may flag technical issues that are actively hurting you, but the focus is strategic, not technical. The question this review answers isn’t “what’s wrong with my site?”, it’s “how should my business adapt as AI changes how people find and buy things online?”
Do you guarantee results?
I can’t guarantee traffic increases, especially when AI is structurally changing how information flows online. What I do guarantee is the most honest, informed assessment you’ll find of where your business stands and what your best strategic moves are.  Many of my clients who act on these recommendations see meaningful improvements.
Does this include a call?
The review is delivered as a written document. I’ve found this format gives you something more useful than a call, because you can reference it, share it with your team, and return to it over time. If you want ongoing strategic conversations, the monthly advisory partnership includes regular calls. You will receive a link to a Gemini Gem, a custom AI agent I’ve created for you, trained specifically on your business information and the advice in my report.
Do you use AI to create these reports?
I use AI tools throughout my analysis. This includes custom agents I’ve built, data analysis tools, and research assistants. But the strategic thinking, the assessment of your competitive position, and every recommendation comes from my judgment. AI makes me faster. It doesn’t replace the expertise.
What if my site has already been heavily impacted by Google updates?
This review can help, but I’ll be honest with you: sometimes the strategic answer isn’t “here’s how to recover your old traffic.” Sometimes it’s “here’s why that traffic isn’t coming back, and here’s what to do instead.” If you’re looking for someone to tell you how to reverse an update, this may not be the right fit. If you want an honest assessment of your options, it is.
