  • Master of Arts with Honours in International Relations and Philosophy, University of St. Andrews

As Director of Product and Services for MHC, Callum is responsible for the project management and product development of all MHC’s core service offerings. He works with the Director of Technical SEO and the rest of the executive team to maximize customer life cycle, manage daily operations of the agency, and grow the agency’s market share. 

Callum also maintains a moderate client load as a Senior SEO Analyst with MHC, conducting data driven and qualitative SEO analysis with primary focuses on traffic drop analysis, technical SEO, and site quality assessments. Lately, he has become our resident expert on Google’s knowledge graph and Google’s use of entity understanding for information retrieval and the larger search ecosystem.

Before coming to Canada and working with MHC, Callum completed his dissertation on the formation of collective identity within digitally exclusive social movements where he received a first class honours mark. This research provided a deep insight into how people interact within Digital spaces, which ultimately led to his interest and passion for SEO and digital marketing.

Callum has spoken publicly on how to help websites recover from Google’s Core Quality Algorithm Updates at conferences such as DMSS, in Bali and Invest Ottawa.
