Google News is coming to Spain
If you haven’t yet heard, Google News is coming back to Spain for the first time since 2014. Lily Ray and Pedro Dias reported on Twitter that the new Spanish copyright laws are giving power back to media outlets of any size in choosing the way their news content can be discovered and monetized. This is fabulous news for our Spanish news publishers.
Google News will return to Spain.
“Along with the return of Google News, the new copyright law allows Spanish media outlets — big and small — to make their own decisions about how their content can be discovered and how they want to make money with that content.”

SEO Tips
An awesome internal linking tip
We really loved this exercise! When it comes to anchor text, it should be incredibly obvious what the following page is all about. Not only does this provide great usability for users, but it also helps with crawling and indexing.
✨Internal linking tip✨
Your anchor text should be *abundantly obvious* as to what the next page is about. That's because it helps screen reader users to quickly navigate the page. And sure it also has SEO benefits blah blah blah.

John weighs in on writing content
Great reminder from John. Make your content inclusive and respectful! If you’re not sure what that entails, John recommends reading the word list in their developer style guide. There are tons of words to avoid and alternate suggestions. We recommend checking it out.
If you write content, it's good to make sure it's respectful & inclusive. Our word-list in the developer documentation style guide might be a good starting point for a guide of your own. (And feel free to submit feedback with the link on the bottom if things are missing!) https://t.co/mFRZiJrTCj

Other Interesting News
Using medical reviewers and E-A-T
This is a great discussion on using medical reviewers to improve EAT. https://t.co/Mj1RwSugmV
— Marie Haynes (@Marie_Haynes) November 3, 2021
On the r/SEO subreddit, a user asked whether or not their website that sells over the counter beauty products would benefit from having someone medically review their content. The top-voted comment makes a few important points: Make sure the reviewer has relevant expertise on the subject and isn’t just a random physician. They should also have some presence online like a knowledge panel, or otherwise be recognized as an entity in the field.

This is an informative study published on Moz Blog on links as ranking factors in 2021. In his article, Tom has done a good job of breaking down the value of links at the domain-level vs. page-level. It also outlines links vs. authoritative links and how all these factors impact your branded search volume.
As expected, the study found that links correlate with ranking. They also elevated some other important reminders for site owners like how page-level link building is just as important as ever.
